Privacy Policy
How SERP handles information on serp.app and in SERP App. Effective .
This policy explains how SERP handles information on serp.app and in SERP App at app.serp.app. Other SERP products and websites may have their own policies, which apply when you use them.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts this website and SERP App, and processes routine request information, such as IP addresses and browser headers, to deliver and secure pages.
Analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Tag Manager, which loads the tags we configure in it. Google Tag Manager loads from Google's servers, which receive routine request information, such as your IP address and browser headers. Tags may set cookies, but none are configured today; if we add one that does, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect this website from bots.
SERP App, at app.serp.app, uses cookies to keep you signed in, once sign-in is available, and to remember your interface preferences, such as whether the sidebar is open and how each data table is laid out. Signing in sets three: a session cookie that keeps you signed in until you sign out or go 7 days without using SERP App; a cookie that ties each sign-in code to the browser that asked for it, for 15 minutes; and a cookie that remembers a browser you have signed in from, for 180 days, so it can still get codes if someone else floods your address with requests. That last one doesn't sign you in. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your account
When you sign up for SERP App, we collect your name and email address. We use them to:
- email you a code each time you sign in;
- review your sign-up, since accounts are approved by hand during early access;
- tell you when your account is approved, and answer you when you write to us.
To keep accounts secure, SERP App also keeps a record of each sign-in session, including the browser it came from but not your IP address, and short-lived records of sign-in attempts, which store only hashed values of email and IP addresses. While a sign-in code is valid, for 10 minutes, SERP App keeps your email address with a hashed copy of the code, never the code itself; expired codes are deleted as sign-in is next used. Your account information is stored in Cloudflare's database service.
We send account email from support@serp.app through Cloudflare Email Sending. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards replies and other messages to that address to SERP's support inbox, which Google hosts. We don't send marketing email.
Sharing
We don't sell your information or use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named here, which process it for us, or when the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep your account information while you have an account. To see, correct or delete it, email support@serp.app.
Children
This website and SERP App are not directed to children under 13.
Changes and contact
We update this policy when the website or SERP App changes how it handles information; the date above marks the current version. For questions, email support@serp.app. See also the Terms of Use.
